EBS FIRM PRINCIPALS   SHIRLENE SMALL, C.P.A. Shirlene Small is the managing director of EBS.  She has over eighteen years of accounting, finance, and project management experience in various industries including franchising, retail, manufacturing, and consulting.  She was the founder and proprietor of Small Consulting, which was the predecessor firm of EBS.  Prior to undertaking her own venture, Shirlene worked for McDonald’s Corporation as a manager in the McOpCo Accounting & Special Areas Group where she was responsible for managing financial reporting processes and business analysis for McDonald’s fifteen-hundred domestic company-owned restaurants.  She also served as a project manager in McDonald’s International Accounting Group where she managed a multi-departmental systems conversion project and re-engineering projects for the International Accounting Department and its fifty-plus subsidiaries and affiliates.  Additionally, Shirlene prepared reports for the International Executive Management Team and worked with the Treasury Department in the management of foreign exchange currencies as it related to foreign investments and debt.  Prior to her tenure at McDonald’s, Shirlene worked as an auditor for the accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand where she specialized in manufacturing, real estate, and not-for-profit clients.   Shirlene received a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from DePaul University and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1989.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society, the Chicago Minority Business Development Council and the Illinois Production Alliance.   DOREENA TOWNER, C.P.A Doreena Towner is the operations director of EBS.  She has over twenty years of accounting and finance experience in various industries including retail, manufacturing, real estate, and construction.  Prior to joining EBS, Doreena was the manager of Internal Audit – US and Canada for Corn Products International Inc. were she was responsible for the planning and execution of audit plans for North American operations.  In addition to these duties, Doreena managed the initial phase of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance work for the company.  Corn Products subsequently became a client of EBS when Doreena was retained as a consultant to execute the Sarbanes-Oxley work for the Corporate and US Operations processes.  Prior to working at Corn Products, Doreena was a Trust Officer in the Fiduciary Tax Department at Northern Trust Bank where she was responsible for managing the tax preparation process for several multi-million dollar trust account holders.  She also served as the manager of Internal Audit for Sears Roebuck and Company responsible for the execution of company audits worldwide.   Doreena received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Roosevelt University and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1995.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society, the Chicago Minority Business Development Council and the Illinois Production Alliance.     EBS STAFF   PATRICIA COSTA - STAFF ACCOUNTANT  Patricia is a staff accountant with EBS. Patricia provides accounting services to our film production, professional services, and real estate development and investment clients. She brings to EBS her experience in real estate investment and management having served as property manager for a property management firm for over seven years. Patricia received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Management and a Certificate in Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She also has bilingual language skills speaking fluent Spanish.   PATRICE COLEMAN - OFFICE MANAGER/COMMUNITY LIAISON  Patrice is the Office Manger/Community Liaison for EBS. She brings over thirty (30) years experience to EBS with her extensive background in banking, foreign exchange and office management/administration.  She was previously employed by ABN AMRO Bank, Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank, Harris Bank and Providence St. Mel High School.  In addition to serving as Officer Manager, Patrice is the Community Liaison between EBS and various community organization and is responsible for ensuring that EBS is a prominent corporate citizen and community partner.   Patrice attended Trinity Christian College and Harold Washington College.   TANGER MARIER FIELDER - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR Tanger is EBS' Business Development Director and is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for EBS. Tanger has extensive experience in various industries including real estate, not-for-profit, manufacturing and media/entertainment.  Tanger's career includes various management level positions with The Salvation Army, Centers For New Horizons, WGCI-107.FM, Great Lakes Analytical and VMS Realty.  Tanger received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northeastern Illinois University.
